📢 NORCET Recruitment 2025 – Nursing Officer Posts at All AIIMS

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9) for the year 2025. This test offers a golden opportunity for aspiring nurses across India to secure a Group-B Nursing Officer position at Level 07 in the pay matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 of ₹9300–₹34800 with Grade Pay of ₹4600).

🗓 Important Dates

• Online Application Start Date: 22nd July 2025

• Last Date to Apply: 11th August 2025 (up to 5:00 PM)

• NORCET Preliminary Exam: 14th September 2025 (Sunday)

• NORCET Main Exam: 27th September 2025 (Saturday)

🧑‍⚕️ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications (Any one of the following):

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University
   OR

2. Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute
   AND

   • Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with Indian or State Nursing Council

OR

3. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute

   • Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife

   • Must have 2 years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after qualification

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Age is calculated as on the closing date of application (11.08.2025)

• Refund: SC/ST candidates who appear for the exam will receive a refund of their application fee.

📝 Selection Process

Selection is through two-stage Computer-Based Tests (CBT):

Stage I – NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying only)

• Duration: 90 Minutes

• Questions: 100 MCQs

  • 20 – General Knowledge & Aptitude

  • 80 – Nursing Syllabus

• Marking: -1/3 for wrong answers

• Qualifying Percentile:

  • UR/EWS: 50

  • OBC: 45

  • SC/ST: 40

  • PwBD: Additional 5 percentile relaxation

Stage II – NORCET Main (Merit-based)

• Duration: 180 Minutes

• Questions: 160 MCQs

  • Case-scenario based Nursing questions

• Marking: -1/3 for wrong answers

• Qualifying Marks (%):

  • UR/EWS: 50%

  • OBC: 45%

  • SC/ST: 40%

  • PwBD: 5% relaxation on above
